The Power of Imagination

The Power of Imagination

On his first trip to the United States of America, as he came down from the aircraft (in the airport), Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa looked around, smiled to himself and said, “I was here before.” His entourage and those that came to received him requested, “Papa, when did you come to the United States of America before?” He replied, “In my imagination.”

Apostle Johnson Suleman remarked, “The greatest nation on earth is not Germany or UK or USA but the greatest nation is the nation of the mind and that is why it is called Imagination.” Whatever you conquered in mind, you can conquer in real life. The mind is the battlefield. If you cannot lose the battle within, you cannot lose the battle outside. Your imagination is an imaginary transport medium that takes you mentally to where you want to be before you actually get there. Anything you don’t see with your mind, you cannot handle with your hand. Every great achievement of a man is a dream before it comes into reality. .

Albert Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” When you give yourself to imagination, you come up with divine idea. Sam Adeyemi subscribe to this when he declared, “Idea rule the world.” Idea can be generated through divine inspiration. The Holy Book says, “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding” (Job 32:8). W.F Kumuyi observed, “No man ever fails until he fails on the inside.” For you to achieve greatness in life, you must develop your power of imagination. Success or failure is not an accident but a product of our imagination. That is why the scripture advises, “Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).
