Rev. Fr. Anthony M. Ozele  remarked, “The tea bag does not release its flavour until it gets into hot water.”  Sometimes, people ascribe their failure to lack of opportunities, education, finance or  connection but Robert Burns did not consider any of these as a barricade to the next level. He was an illiterate country boy that was living in abject poverty and also addicted to wine.

Despite his limitations, he rose up to become one of the greatest poet in his time. He did not depend on his credentials but he relied on his potentials and use it to make impact in his generation.
The scripture says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19). God has invested so much in you and expects you to bring your hidden potentials into manifestation.
It does not matter the difficulties you are passing through right now, at the right time, God will change your story. “Weeping may endure for a night but joy must surely come in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
Irrespective of your challenges, never give up. If you can focus on your potentials on a long term basis,  the world will wake up to celebrate you.
The fact is that when you have a dream, people may fight you, circumstance may confronts you, ugly situations may weigh you down but you should not allow them to abort your vision. You should always be reminded that gold does not glitter without passing through the furnace of fire.
Quitters never win and winners never quit. When the going was tough, Robert Burns never quit. Be an imitator of Christ. He was born in a manger but he left this world as a very important person (V.I.P.).
