Sometime ago, I read a book about a beggar that was sitting on top of a treasure and keep begin for alms. He didn’t know that he was sitting on top of pure gold. But he told his siblings that if he dies, they should bury him on the same spot. After his death, they were actually preparing the ground to bury him in that same spot. While they were digging his grave, they discovered a treasure just three feet from the ground level. Everybody wept and pitied the man. He was sitting on top of pure gold, begging for alms without discovering what lie beneath him.  (more…)
